BACKGROUND:
Completed in 2020 we were engaged by the Council of Owners to carry out the fire engineering, installation and commissioning of the fire hydrant system upgrade works.
CHALLENGES:
Working in a live environment always poses its own challenges and this project was no different. With many of the tenants involved in meat distribution the site was consistently busy with logistics coming and going.
SOLUTIONS:
On our initial site inspection it was clear to us that the site was extremely busy and would be a factor we needed to understand in order to complete the project on time and on budget. With consideration of the above our design team managed to design the system to the rear of most properties and up and over the remaining properties enabling our clients to trade as normal throughout the process.
