BACKGROUND:
Engaged by RSL Geraldton in 2018 our scope was to retrofit the existing building with;
- Fire Sprinkler System
- Upgrade of Fire indicator Panel Board.
- Fire System Interfacing
CHALLENGES:
Installing a sprinkler system to a live building with full capacity of residents was a very challenging aspect of this project.
SOLUTIONS:
We approached this project with a different approach from usual. To limit our time working inside the residence we removed the roof tiles and worked through the attic space. For fitting off of sprinkler heads we worked around the meal and recreation times of the residence which proved to be very effective. An excellence outcome for all involved.
