Manoah House – Fire Pump Replacement
BACKGROUND:
Awarded Maintenance Contract in July 2014.
Post completion of first monthly inspection it was identified the the diesel pump power was fluctuating significantly. Our in-house diesel mechanic diagnosed that the governor and fuel pump had failed and required replacement. With a further investigation we identified that the pump was running to end of life and offered the client the option to replace the pumps.
CHALLENGES:
As the Aged Care was occupied and operating we needed to have a custom pumpset built like for like to ensure the downtime operation was minimal.
SOLUTIONS:
With our wide range of suppliers we managed to source a “like for like” replacement from the eastern states which also could be supplied at short notice ensuring our client was satisfied and all occupants were safe.
