Belmont Park Racecourse – Annual Flow Test
BACKGROUND:
Safetytech were engaged by CIMIC on behalf of Golden Group to relocate the fire boosted cabinet and carry out the boosted flow testing as part of the infrastructure works for the Belmont Park redevelopment works.
CHALLENGES:
The initial flow test failed to achieve DFES requirements. Further investigations were required to understand the town main capabilities in the area. We worked with Water Corporation through their infrastructure grid maps locating further test point up to 1km away.
SOLUTIONS:
Through various flow tests carried out with our calibrated equipment Safetytech were able to issue a detailed test report to the client with our findings.
