Beach Shack Apartments
BACKGROUND:
Located at 171 West Coast Highway, Scarborough; The Beach Shack comprises of two mid rise developments (9 & 11 storey) housing 99 apartments with two joined level basement carparks below.
CHALLENGES:
Engaged to design and install the fire detection & Emergency Warning / Intercommunication System. Initially the project engagement and set up was flowing smooth. On completion of design documentation and once in a position to procure orders we faced a delay with receiving the Fire Control Indication Panel and internal equipment.
SOLUTIONS:
Partnering with our supplier we managed to adjust the internal fire panel components design resulting in an amazing short turn around for the build and delivery to site. All this was achieved with a better internal specification to the fire panel been provided too.
