BACKGROUND:
Works commenced in January 2016, Safetytech were engaged by Broad Construction to carry out the “Wet Fire” sprinkler alterations over a two floor fitout of the WorkZone East Building. Tenants to be “Department of finance – Building Management & Works – Mental Health Commission” housing over 200 employees.
CHALLENGES:
Throughout the fit-out works, other levels of the six-storey building remained occupied and the team worked hard to ensure disruptions was kept to a minimum.
SOLUTIONS:
Safetytech brought a wealth of experience and proficiency to the delivery of this project, including understanding the needs of the tenants occupying other floors. A temporary workshop area was set up off site in the basement where noisy threading machines were operated.
